Overwhelmed by all the tech options out there for small businesses? Here are my faves...

Some variation of "How do I choose which tool/platform/tech I should use?" has been asked by all my clients. And, listen, the answer isn't super straightforward. The answer is usually, "it depends.”

You really can make tech work for you, if you find the right one and get it set up to best suit your unique needs. But it's also easy to get stuck in indecision. So do research and ask around, but sometimes you just have to choose a platform and go with it.

That said, I thought share with you my "tech stack," the platforms I use every day in my business that make my life easier.

Alrighty, without further ado, my recs.

Please note, I may get an affiliate commission if you purchase through these links. This is at no additional cost to you and I absolutely do not promote anything that sucks.

CRM (Client Relationship Manager)

Honeybook (get 50% off!)
If you're a service provider, this CRM has everything you need to take your clients from inquiry to onboarding to offboarding, and more. You can create branded proposals that include a contract, invoice, questionnaires, scheduling, etc. It's seriously the best.

Invoicing/Accounting

Wave Financial
If you don't need a full CRM but do need to accept payments, Wave is great for invoicing. TBH, it's been a bit since I've used this platform but I know they have accounting features as well, so you could use it to track income & expenses. Plus it's free!

Task/Project Management

ClickUp
What can I say that I haven't already said about ClickUp? I use it to manage all my tasks and can organize everything however I want. Got tasks you have to do every Monday? Or maybe your quarterly taxes? Create a task one time, set it to recur at whatever cadence you need, and you no longer have to keep track of when those things need to be done. It will automatically pop up on your to-do list. That's just a sliver of how ClickUp can help you manage your work... And their free plan is really robust - I'm still on it!

Web Browser

Wavebox
Okay, so you don't *need* a special browser to run a biz, but I freaking love Wavebox. It's billed as a work/productivity browser, and it really does help me keep on task with fewer distractions. Also, as someone who works with clients who have all kinds of accounts and things I need to access, Wavebox is perfect for keeping everything separate and not mixing up any logins.

If you have questions about any of the above, or you're looking for something else,  please feel free to reach out. I would love to help!
